Festivitis nationals
  Regionals it is of special significance to the people of Zulia, because for the same are held celebrations in honor of the Chinita (equivalent of guajirita Zulia) or Virgen de la Chiquinquirá. It is for this reason that these days, the bagpipe sounds with particular frenzy and joy throughout the Zulia.

Cultural Although the history trace back to 1821, when the province of Maracaibo decides to separate of absolute way of the Spanish command, is from the 2002, each 28 of January, when it celebrates  the day of the Zulianidad in conmemoración to this important date.

Patriotic On June 24, 1821, among the royal army by Field Marshal Miguel de la Torre and the Republican led by the Commanding General Simón Bolívar. The victory achieved by the latter, was decisive for the release of Caracas and the Venezuelan territory, a fact that will be achieved definitively in 1823 with the Naval Battle of Lake Maracaibo and the taking of the strengths of Puerto Cabello.

Earth Day: is a holiday celebrated in many countries on 22 April. Its sponsor, U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson, established this day to create awareness to the problems of overpopulation, pollution production, conservation of biodiversity and other environmental concerns to protect the Earth.
